Troy Taylor is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Outpost Preparedness, where he leads day-to-day operations and helps translate the company’s mission into scalable systems across products, consulting, and government contracting—including readiness solutions for residential care facilities (RCFEs), airports and airlines, multi-story buildings, and other organizations that need safe, compliant evacuation and mobility support.

A retired U.S. Army senior leader, Troy spent decades operating in high-stakes environments where readiness, risk management, and disciplined execution were non-negotiable. His experience includes leading operational protection and force protection efforts across the U.S. Army Pacific region—supporting complex, multi-location missions spanning Hawaii, Alaska, Japan, and Guam. In these roles, he oversaw security operations, personnel recovery planning, critical infrastructure risk management, and team training and leader development, while managing significant resources and accountability.

At Outpost Preparedness, Troy brings that same operational mindset to helping families, organizations, and communities build practical readiness—without fear-based messaging. He is passionate about building resilient systems, developing people, and ensuring Outpost delivers clear, reliable preparedness solutions that perform when it matters most.

Troy is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Texas A&M University–Central Texas.
